AMERICA AND ARMAGEDDON – WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS WILL HAPPEN?

According to the bible, America is the last ‘World Superpower,’ and the ‘last man made government on earth.’

THE BASICS OF BIBLE PROPHECY

God created his firstborn Christ by means of his holy spirit. Christ was with God as he created all other things including the angels, mankind and the earth over period of billions of years.

He then put Adam and Even in the Garden of Eden to reproduce and fill the earth with mankind. Satan (At first a prominent good angel) saw Gods plan for mankind and came down to turn man away from serving god and instead take power for himself. His argument was man could think for himself and rule himself without the need for God. Satan started right away with Adam and Eve knowing that it was easier to turn away two before they started to produce children. Satan became known as the “Ruler and God of the World”

God stepped back and allowed Satan to give mankind the opportunity to rule without God. But he also took away the gift of everlasting life and perfection. Perhaps as a way to try to change the genetics of mankind, Satan then managed to turn a number of other angels away from god as they came to earth and reproduced with women, creating giant children called the Nephilim. God brought a flood which wiped out everyone including the Nephilim. Leaving only Noah and his family to survive. The bad angels became known as demons, returned to heaven.

Out of Noah’s offspring came Abraham. Out of Abraham came both the (Jews) Israelite’s and (Arabs) Muslims. Out of the Israelite’s came Jesus. God transferred Jesus to the womb of the virgin Mary. Jesus showed that a perfect man could serve god faithfully even to death. Out of Jesus came Christianity.

Christianity spread throughout the known world like wildfire thanks in part to the Pax Romana (a period of relative peace and stability across the Roman Empire which lasted for over 200 years, beginning with the reign of Augustus in 27 BCE. To stop the spread of the unstoppable pure Christianity, Roman Emperor Constantine then combined Christianity with Paganism in 398 CE at the Council of Nicaea creating the apostatized form of Christianity known as the Roman Catholic Church. The Muslims then went across the earth trying to wipe out every other religion including the Christians, which caused the Crusades. The Catholic Church also started the inquisitions to stop the return of true Christianity, but were unable to start the reformation movement which saw the spread of Christianity throughout the earth thanks in part to the British Empire.

In the late 1870’s a group of bible students under Charles Taze Russell preached how the bible predicted that 1914 would be a major year in world history due to a bible prophecy about 2520 years, starting in 607 BCE when the nations would first trample on Jerusalem, and ending in 1914 when during the great war in heaven described in Revelation 12, the demons along with Satan were cast down permanently to the vicinity of the earth.

The New York World of August 30, 1914, said: “The terrific war outbreak in Europe has fulfilled an extraordinary prophecy. For a quarter of a century past, through preachers and through press, the ‘International Bible Students’ have been proclaiming to the world that the Day of Wrath prophesied in the Bible would dawn in 1914.” Ever since the momentous events of that year, so accurately foretold in the Bible alone, the whole world system of things has been in its “last days.”

THE MARCH OF WORLD POWERS ENDING WITH AMERICA AND ARMAGEDDON

A prophecy found in Daniel 2:31-45 relates that ‘in the second year of his reign Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, is troubled by a dream. He summons his magicians and astrologers to interpret it, but demands that they first tell him what the dream was. They protest that no man can do such a thing, and Nebuchadnezzar orders that they all be executed. This decree also falls on the Prophet Daniel, who is able to tell the king both the dream and it’s meaning.’

The king had a dream of a great statue with a head of gold, arms and chest of silver, belly and thighs of bronze, legs of iron, and feet of mingled iron and clay.Daniel then interprets the dream: Five successive kingdoms, beginning with Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon.

1.Babylon makes us the Gold Head which ruled from 605-539 BCE.

2.Medio-Persia destroyed Babylon and became the next world power from 539-331 BCE.

3.Greece defeated Medio-Persia and became the next world power from 331-168 BCE.

4.Rome then defeated Greece becoming the fourth world power from 168 BCE – 476 AD.

5.In September 476 AD, the last Roman emperor of the west, Romulus Augustulus, was deposed by a Germanic prince called Odovacar, who had won control of the remnants of the Roman army of Italy. The dark ages began and out of it came the British Empire and America.

How did the Roman Empire collapse and give rise to Britain and America? The Roman empire which had been in existence for 500 years had basically slowly ceased to exist, its single emperor being replaced by upwards of a dozen kings and princes. Their power was based on the control of military forces which were the direct descendants of recent immigrants into the Roman world, whether Anglo-Saxons in Britain, Goths in southern Gaul and Spain, or Vandals in North Africa. The end of Roman Empire was a major event in human history throwing western civilization into the ‘Dark Ages’ marking the death knell of education and literacy, sophisticated architecture, advanced economic interaction, and the rule of written law. The ‘Dark Ages’ which followed were dark not only because written sources were few and far between, but because life became nasty, brutish and short. The British Empire was born out of the chaos of the ‘Dark Ages’ and from British Colonization to the New World came the ‘American Revolution’ and ‘The United States of America.’ America and Britain have long since mended their rocky past and now often collaborate together to protect Democracy around the world.

Why did the Bible describe the feet as Iron and Clay?

Daniel 2: 41-43 says; 41 “And just as you saw the feet and the toes to be partly of clay of a potter and partly of iron, the kingdom will be divided, but some of the hardness of iron will be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with soft clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom will be partly strong and partly fragile. 43 Just as you saw iron mixed with soft clay, they will be mixed with the people;* but they will not stick together, one to the other, just as iron does not mix with clay.

Some feel the Iron and clay is symbolic of the two kingdoms Anglo/American with America coming from Britain while others feel the iron and clay represents the opposing government parties of Republicans and Democrats causing a strong but fragile mix.

THE FORMATION OF THE LEAGE OF NATIONS AND THE UNITED NATIONS

That same international bible students then preached that a political representation of nations (the League of Nations) would appear and then disappear and re-appear as something even bigger (the United Nations). The Anglo American world power was responsible for breathing life into the United Nations. The United Nations then would push for a grab of world power and global Peace and Security.

PUSH OF THE KING OF THE NORTH AND THE KING OF THE SOUTH

As the United Nations pushed for world power, there would also be a push for world power between the King of the North (Russia and it’s allies via communism and dictatorship) against the and King of the South (America and it’s allies via Democracy). For some reason the King of the North would find the opportunity to pass over many lands in a push to gain world dominance. Perhaps in part that would be due to the weakening of Democracy via multiculturalism.

PEACE AND SECURITY VIA THE TURNING ON RELIGIONS BY THE NATIONS

The bible then says that the Nations would cry for Peace and Security via the turning on religions. This would be in part due to the problems created by religions constant warring, slaughtering and fanaticism. God would put it into the heart of the Nations to turn on false and fanatical religions for the horrible things they have done in the name of God, thus leaving only true Christianity as was in the beginning, (without bars and doors and in open fields.)

Satan would then turn on God’s people, and God would in turn bring about Armageddon by putting Satan into an abyss and putting an end to all political kingdoms of the earth all while bringing about his original plans of turning the earth into a paradise. After 1000 years Satan would be let out to once again test mankind. A considerable number of people would again leave serving God. But in the end a sufficient number of faithful people would remain for a core of good mankind. God would destroy Satan and his followers. In the end mankind would then work together to explore other planets fulfilling gods original purpose.

Whatever the case, the Bible says America is the last World Power and is only replaced by God’s Kingdom, not by Russia, China, or North Korea.
